The head of Al Nasr Coalition, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, received in his office, yesterday, Wednesday, the Ambassador of the European Union in Baghdad, Mr. Martin Hutt.

During the meeting, they discussed strengthening cooperation between Iraq and the countries of the European Union in all fields, the importance of supporting the reconstruction of Iraq and encouraging companies from the European Union countries to invest in it, and the activation of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Iraq and the European Union.

They also reviewed the political and security situation in Iraq and the region, the early elections file, and providing the requirements for its success.

Dr. Al-Abadi stressed that Iraq faces many challenges, which need more international support and at the level of many sectors.

Dr. Al-Abadi also received in his office the Dutch Ambassador in Baghdad, Mr. Michael Rentinar, where many files of mutual interest and ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in various fields were reviewed.
